Welcome Reception
3 May 2022, 7-11 p.m. – Restaurant Nolle
On the evening of 3 May 2022 a reception will be hosted from 7 p.m. at Restaurant Nolle (S-Bahnbogen 203, Georgenstraße 203, 10117 Berlin).
This will be followed by a buffet dinner. The restaurant “Nolle” is located under the arches of the overground railway line 203 at Friedrichstraße station right in the centre of Berlin, about 25 minutes walk from the conference hotel.
You can take the trains S5, S7, S9 and S3 or lines RB14, RB21, RE1, RE2 and RE7 to Friedrichstraße station, which is one stop away from the central railway station. The journey by public transport takes approx. 10 minutes.

On Thursday, 5 May 2022, a reception will be held from 7 p.m. at Hotel Stadtbad Oderberger (Oderberger Str. 57, 10435 Berlin) followed by a gala dinner.
Stadtbad Oderberger is an extraordinary event location: The former public bathing facility which is housed in an impressive neo-Renaissance building classified as a protected historical monument has a very special flair both historically and architecturally.
The cathedral-like swimming hall, the heart of the hotel, was renovated in 2012, making it possible to swim there again after 30 years. Using hydraulic technology, the floor of the pool can be raised so that guests can literally dine on the water.
Stadtbad Oderberger is located at Oderberger Straße 57 (10435 Berlin) in the popular Prenzlauer Berg district, about 4 km from the conference hotel.

6 May 2022, 3:00 – 5:15 p.m. – Meeting Point: Lobby, Steigenberger Hotel
The Spree river cruise on Friday, 6 May 2022, will start at 3:30 p.m. (Meeting point & time: Lobby, Steigenberger Hotel at 3:00 p.m.) and takes us through Berlin’s historic city centre.
The cruise boats MS Belvedere and MS Brasil will depart from and return to the pier Kanzleramt/Haus der Kulturen der Welt (Bettina-von-Arnim-Ufer, 10557 Berlin). The pier is within walking distance of the conference hotel (approx. 700 m) and can be reached in about 10 minutes after a short walk across Moltkebrücke bridge and along the river Spree.
Heading east, the Spree cruise will take us past many of the city’s famous sights: the Reichstag building, Berlin’s government quarter and the Federal Chancellery, bustling Friedrichstraße, Berlin Cathedral, the well-known Museum Island and Berlin’s oldest residential area, Nikolaiviertel. At the Mühlendamm lock the ships will turn around and head back the same way to finish the cruise through the historic city centre at the pier Kanzleramt/Haus der Kulturen der Welt.
Drinks and cakes will be offered during the cruise.

The Bundeskartellamt will host its 21st International Conference on Competition in Berlin on 4 May 2022.
The International Conference on Competition is one of the most renowned international events dealing with competition law issues. At this conference, the heads of competition authorities, antitrust lawyers, academics, politicians, leading representatives of international companies and other high-ranking participants discuss current, internationally relevant issues of competition policy and competition law.
The event will start with a welcome reception on the evening of Tuesday, 3 May 2022. The conference will begin in the morning of Wednesday, 4 May 2022 and end in the early afternoon after a joint lunch.
The conference venue will be the Steigenberger Hotel am Kanzleramt. The working language will be English. The conference will be livestreamed. Participation by personal invitation only.
